Become an SCPO Patron
Patrons are foremost music lovers who enjoy live performances and want to support the tradition of live music.
Patrons share and encourage SCPO vision of presenting past and present Australian composers’ legacy of creative
endeavours and to make possible for great international music to be heard live. The development and success
of the Orchestra depends on Patrons.
SCPO Patrons are invited to make substantial Donations of $1,000 or more and will be encouraged
to make
recommendations on all aspects of the Orchestra.
Donations categories:
$1,000 - $2,999 Silver Patron
$3,000 - $5,999 Gold Patron
$6,000 and above Platinum Patron
Donations can be simple cash donations, a gift of shares* or a bequest

*According to present Australian Taxation Office (ATO) rules:
· It is possible to transfer to SCPO shares or share portfolios
that have increased in value and reduce your capital gains tax
by claiming
the full value of your gift as a deduction.
· It is also possible to assign real estate, commercial property and
even your life insurance policies to SCPO and claim a tax deduction
for the
market value of the gift spread over five years.
All Donations of $2 and over are tax deductible.
In agreement with Patrons we will:
· Acknowledge your Donation in SCPO publications
· Keep you informed on how the Donation is being used
· Cultivate a special relationship through involvement with the Orchestra
· Encourage your participation through invitations to talks,
rehearsals and special receptions with artists and conductors
